COVID-19 is associated with multiple psychiatric problems in several groups of people, may have negative effect on patients who have psychiatric disorders predating the pandemic and is at increased risk of infection.
While the safest choice is isolation until the spread of Covid-19 stops, people’s mental health is at risk experiencing psychiatric symptoms, including depression, anxiety, insomnia, agoraphobia and distress. This psychiatric symptoms have considerably increased. During the pandemic more than 40% of the adults are reporting mental health issues.
